The most important routine is Alicia's training. We are trying to do 2 times a week at the moment and we are hoping to eventually do at least 3 times. It has been a little hard for Alicia to get back in to it after the summer. She thinks its fun for the first 30 minutes and then she gets really tired for the last 30 minutes. I think the reason is that she has had a little cold for a long time and hopefully she will get better now... The trainer also says that it is the same way as it is for us when we start to workout after a long break. First it is hard and you get really tired fast, but the more you train the better it goes. We are really excited to do this with her and to see what it can do for her!!
Last week I toke some pictures of Alicia during her training session and I want to share them with you.

Alicia is taking her shoes off

Training sitting up

Singing "This is the way I wash my face". Alicia really
likes this song.

This is the favourit song "Brother Jacob" (we sing brother Damien)

Up on the knees

Up to sitting position

This ball is a good excercise for balance and stretching

Working with the stick, putting it over her head

Standing up and picking ballons. We have finally found a company that are selling these things that she is wearing on her legs. These are easy to bring when we go places so she can continue to do her excercises.

After a lot of hard work Alicia wants to take a little nap!!

Damien watches Alicia every week and thinks it is a lot of fun!!
Awesome Alicia!

Jamison and I enjoyed looking at these pictures of Alicia and Damien last weekend. Wanted to come on and make a comment.
I LOVED the ones of Alcia standing and reaching for the balloons. That's awesome! Alicia is getting stronger and stronger. Way to go!
Way to Go, Alicia

Thank you for sending the pictures of Alicia's workout routine. It is amazing how much she has progressed! I love seeing her sitting, with assistance, nice and straight! With practice, I believe she will master sitting up really soon. I love her braces that help her stand up straight. The last photo of Damien watching his sister is cute. He just is such a happy child! I know that adding another day of PT will help Alicia so much.
Love,
Mom L
