Last Friday Alicia went to her neurologist for a routine visit that she does two times a year. It went really well and her doctor thought that she had done a lot of improvements. Last time she saw Alicia was in December last year. She was then recovering from her infantile spasm and had been food refusing for a couple of months. She was tired and cranky. This time she got to see a happy girl constantly ready for new challenges...
As a little treat after the doctors appointment my mom and I toke the kids to the pool. They loved it. We were in the water for over an hour and both Alicia and Damien had a big smile on their faces the entire time. I really want to try to go at least every second week with them, it is so rewarding to see those big smiles!!

As you know, I check the blog about a million times a day. What a sweet surprise to see my grandchildren having a wonderful time with their Corina and Mommy! I am happy that you are able to use the hospital pool (I think) and let them enjoy stress free movement. We will have to check out our indoor pools for them this December/January. Also glad to hear Alicia got a great report. She is really progressing. And that Damien, what a cutie!!!
