May 9th 2012 - Spring is here

Spring is finally here (most days at least…) and we are excited about spending more time outside. We are going on walks as often as we can and have been able to see the trees and flowers bloom.

The kids are doing well. Some minor colds… Damien stayed home from daycare today since he had a little fever this morning. Alicia’s mood has been going up and down the last few days so the question is if she is coming down with something or if she’s just bothered by her snotty nose…

Liam got his first tooth, the bottom left!! Adorable!! He is also sitting up now without support for a long time. Sometimes he loses his balance, but he is doing pretty well. He is a champion in his walker. He runs around the whole apartment with full speed, he goes through doors and backs up if he gets stuck. He is starting to be such a big boy now…

Damien is so much fun right now, he is in an adorable age. He is so helpful and he takes on a big responsibility helping his brother and sister. He is very busy keeping track on pacifiers and handing them their favorite toys. He always gives up his spot in the stroller for Alicia or Gaga as he now calls her. There is so much that we want to write about Damien so we will do a “Damien update blog soon”.

I want to end this blog with sending lots of love and thoughts to MeMere who had surgery last Monday. We hope that you have a fast recovery!!

Sweden looks beautiful! Glad you are enjoying some warmer weather now. All the kids are growing up. I can't wait to give them all big squeezes when they get here. It's so darling that Damien gives up his spot in the stroller for "Gaga." What a gentleman!

So happy you have been getting out in the beautiful spring weather. I bet the cottages behind you are bursting out in gorgeous blooms and flowers. I love all the pictures you posted! Can't wait until next month when I can go on walks with you and the children. I saw some activities for Alicia during July while you are here. There is an adaptive swimming class for 3 to 6 year olds and also 4, 1 hour horseback riding classes for 3 to 18 year old special needs children. We'll talk soon about them.
    Love,
    Mom L
