December 7th 2011 - Liam´s homecoming

It has been great having Liam home these first couple of days. It is super cozy during the days after we drop Damien and Alicia off at daycare and we have just Liam home with us. We listen to Christmas music and watch Liam sleep.
Before we had Liam we were really curious how the other two kids would respond to him and all of the attention he is going to receive. We were really worried that Damien might get entirely jealous that he could not sit with Mommy all of the time. Well it turns out that Damien is Liam's biggest supporter. Everywhere Damien goes he pushes Liam's little chair, so that Liam will be next to him. In the morning when Damien wakes up, he instantly runs to Liam's crib and smiles. If Liam cries Damien grabs Liam's pacifier and puts it in Liam's mouth. He genuinely loves his little brother!
Alicia likes to listen Liam. The sound he makes often now is crying, but you can tell that Alicia knows there is sométhing new going on at home. She smiles when ever he starts getting loud. Unfortunately Alicia had just been getting over the effects of a flu shot right when Liam got home. She is feeling much better now.

Alicia consoling her little brother. "It's ok Liam, big sister's got you."

A helping big brother, giving little brother a pacifier.

The boys!

Damien loves his brother Liam.

This is my absolute favorite picture. Damien had pushed Liam in the chair from the kitchen to the living room, right next to were Damien was going to sit to watch "Dora the Explorer." Damien wants to be next to Liam all of the time.

Here is Damien pushing Liam from his bedroom out to the playmat.
