The day before Christmas the whole family meet up at Mattias & Marie's place. We had a really cosy evening with good food and a bunch of gifts.
Christmas Eve my parents and Fredde, Ida & Nadja came over to our place. We had all the traditional food, more gifts and ended the night with the Christmas gift game. This day we were a bit stressed out - Liam had a bad stomach and probably pooped 15 times, they all cried during dinner, a few fights, refused to fall asleep and so on... It all worked out in the end and Ross and I could sit down and enjoy a few hours of adult time in the end of the night!
Christmas day we celebrated Orphans Christmas with some friends from the Footy team. The kids behaved better and we had a good time with our friends.
On one of the days we bundled the kids up in the strollers and took the train over to Copenhagen. We went to the Christmas market at Tivoli. We have talked about doing this for years. Finally we got to do it, and it was so cos. This was probably the best day during the whole break!!
Alicia had an eye infection that lasted for almost 2 weeks. It was so bad!! Her eye swelled up so much that she couldn't open it at all. We had to take her to the doctor 2 times and to the eye emergency room one time... Poor little girl... And lucky me, a few days after Alicia's eye looked better I got it...
We celebrated New Years with Matt & Maria. We had an awesome dinner with lobster, scallops and a bunch of other delicious dishes. It was a good end to a good year and now we are looking forward to see what 2013 has to bring!!
I loved reading all about your holiday. . . The good and the bad:-)

Damien standing in the mess of toys made me smile but it made me tired for you guys too!
Glad Alicya's eye is all better. Poor girl!

As you have taught me, there is never bad weather...just bad clothing! I am so happy you have started back on the blog. I love this blog because it is easier to read and the pictures are clearer. Looks like you had a great Christmas with the children and the family. Love, Mom L.
