Today it is 3 years ago Alicia came in to our lives. It has meant so many changes in so many ways. To become a parent, to become a parent to a special needs child... To have Alicia has made me grow so much as a person and she has taught me so many things. One of the most valuable lessons is to never take anything for granted. She has also taught me to appreciate the small things in life!
Today she had her 3rd birthday. They had a party for her at daycare and Damien and I went there to celebrate. Alicia got to wear a cape and a princess crown. She looked so cute! She got to open a little present and then she had 2 pieces of cake!! Yum Yum delicious!!

Happy birthday princess Alicia! I loved the pictures of you at daycare. I had to come in and give you a careful kiss so I did not wake you up right after I saw your pictures. Really well said Linda, it seems like Alicia has always been here. I have trouble remembering the time before her (and you too Damien). I am sure Alicia has helped change my life and a lot of lives, but again I really have trouble remembering a time without Alicia. I am so glad that you are feeling great again and we have are happy, laughing girl back with us.

I have on my door the picture of Alicia celebrating her 3rd birthday at home. Everyone comes by and comments how good she looks and how happy she is! What a beautiful little angel we have:) Happy Birthday, Alicia! Many, many more.
