Alicia is doing really well at her training at the moment. Most of the time she can get through about 45 minutes before she gets tired, today she made the whole session without crying. She is actually laughing most of the time and really enjoying herself.
She really likes to stand up and is pushing a lot with her legs showing that she wants to stand. At training she holds on to a wall bar while she stands up. The conductor holds on to her legs and I hold on to her arms. In the beginningof the year she would stand like this for about one minute, now she does it for at least 5 minutes.
This weekend I was playing with Alicia on the floor and I noticed something new that she is doing. I had her on her knees and her head was down on the mat. I held on to her sides and told her to push up with her arms and she did. She pushed herself up about halfway so she was almost in a crawling position. I have never seen her do this before.
We are working a lot on her sitting. This is one goal that we are working towards together with daycare and at training. One thing that the physical therapist adviced us to do is to have her sitting in corners. This is working really well and she can sit like that for a long time now. It is still hard for her to keep the balance when she doesn't have any support but this is our big goal that we are working towards. Small steps!

then do what's possible
and suddenly you are doing the impossible"
Way to Go, Alicia

I swear you had different pictures in this section earlier today when I didn't have time to write! I am so excited for Alicia's new growth. You all have been so patient and she is just blossoming. It is so fun watching her learn and use those skills for her next adventure.
Thank you so much for keeping this blog going strong. I feel like we are right in your livingroom.
Love,
Mom L
