March 5th 2012 - Liam´s day

Yesterday we had Liam’s baptism. It was a nice day together with our friends and family. First we had a nice ceremony in the church. It was very personal where Ross read a prayer for Liam and he also read from the bible. I read a poem about how special it is for Ross and me to be parents and how much our kids mean to us. Mattias and Marie are Liam’s Godparents and Marie read a beautiful poem about how they feel about having a godchild. Last mormor Carina shared a poem with us about the beauty in having grandchildren.

After the ceremony we all went in to a big room they have at the church for gatherings. We had smörgåstårta and some really nice cakes. Liam did really well all day and hardly cried at all. He was passed from one person’s arm to the next and really seemed to like it! Damien had a great time with all the kids. The crowd of kids has grown a lot the last couple of years and it is so fun to see all of the kids running around and having fun together. Alicia was in a great mood and had a big smile on her face most of the day!

We want to take the opportunity to thank everybody for coming and making Liam’s day memorable and thank you for all the nice and generous gifts!

As soon as Ross has time he will make a blog about Damien and his trip to the States!
