November 30th 2011 - Sorry for the few updates this month

We have been so bad at updating the blog this month, sorry…. It feels like we have been getting ready for the new baby for forever. We want to get as much as possible accomplished before he arrives, but some things have been done multiple times by now. Take the laundry for an example – every week I’m thinking that it will be nice to have the laundry done before we have the baby and this have been going on for about 5 weeks now… This week I decided not to do the laundry – let’s see if he falls for reversed psychology …

Today we are 11 days over due date and we have an appointment at the hospital on Sunday. They will then check the baby and see so everything is okay. The doctors will then decide if they think it is time to induce labor or if they should wait. If they decide to wait we have to come back to the hospital every second day to check on the baby and after a week they will induce if nothing has happened by then. This is what we went through with Damien and I have a feeling that we will go through the same thing with this little one…. I guess he decided to be a little December baby after all…

Alicia and Damien are doing well. We try to spend as much time as possible with them now and do little fun things with them. On Fridays when Alicia has her special day with grandma Carina we have been taking Damien to Leo’s lekland. He absolutely loves it! It is a huge indoor play land with big slides, blocks to build, trampolines, things to climb on and so on. For a kid Damien’s size it must be so overwhelming with all the fun things to do there.

Almost forgot to tell you about Thanksgiving. As every year we had a big dinner with some friends. Maria and I cooked all day and everything turned out great and the turkey was delicious… Matt & Maria was over and Simon & Miriam and their daughter Milla. Alicia and Damien really liked the food and eat a whole bunch. I think Daddy was a little upset about having to split the leftovers with the kids as well

He is supporting something called Movember were men grow their moustache for awareness for prostate cancer (http://uk.movember.com/?home) . The deal has been during all of november that he can grow it as long as he shaves it of before the baby comes...
