August 23rd 2010 - European cup in Aussie rules football

As most of you probably know Ross played for the Swedish national team in Aussie rules football. The tournament took place in Malmö and Copenhagen and lasted for a week. The teams that were attending were Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, Great Britain, Iceland, Croatia, Finland and Germany. Sweden took home the bronze medal and the guys were really satisfied with that. Alicia, Damien and I were being good supporters and were watching all of the games except one. We had the Swedish flag painted on our faces and all dressed in yellow and blue.

During this week Damien learned to clap his hands. It was really cute. We would sit on the sideline and the other kids would tell him to say "Go Daddy, Go Daddy..." while they clapped their hands. Damien looked at them and clapped. Now he does it all the time...

The tournament got a lot of publicity in the newspaper and also made it on to the local news on TV. Damien and Alicia were so cute and made a picture in the paper. Everybody were loving how they were supporting their Daddy.

Go Sweden!!

Great photos of proud family after daddy's bronze place win!! What a wonderful capture of happiness! You do so much as a family...something that reminds me of our family while Ross was growing up. I love the Swedish flags painted on the kinds and the beautiful uniforms...how do you keep them so clean! I'm sure the children enjoy sitting in the sun and watching and hearing all of the excitement.

    Love,
