November 10th 2010 - November break

Last week Ross was on break and we got to enjoy a lot of family time together. We went for walks, played cards, meet up with friends and took little daytrips.

We went to Copenhagen on Friday. We walked around the city and saw some new areas that we haven't seen before. We stopped by the Carlsberg brewery and looked around in their museum. In the back they had a stable with two big "brewery horses". The kids really enjoyed touching the horses and they were both just laughing. Damien was being so funny and we are happy that we caught it on tape to be able to share it with you.

It was really cool to see Alicia too. She was giggling and seemed really happy. It made me think about how some riding schools offer lessons for people with disabilities and how that could be an activity for Alicia in the future. Riding is so much more than just sitting on a horse. You get to experience different smells (good and bad ones....), you are outside in nature and its physical training were you train your coordination and balance.

WOW, you two do so much with your mini vacations! I love the film of Damien and the horse! What a happy little guy! And Alicia is getting bigger everyday...I'm glad she loved the horse also...we will have to take her back to Chincoteague. Her cousin Jamison loves the ponies but Harley could care less! You two look very good...so healthy and fit! Can't wait to see you VERY SOON!

    Love,
    Mom L
