It has been great having our happy, healthy Alicia back. Every week we see progression in her development, but the best part is how happy she has been. Alicia really enjoys going to daycare, and they are really glad to have her there. She has charmed them with her easy going, loud talking, smiley, determined and cuddly personality. One thing we have always loved about Alicia is how happy she is and her smile with shouts of joy. It is even better now because she has started laughing and real laugh. It is hard to hear Alicia have her hysterical giggle and not start laughing and smiling yourself. She likes to laugh when we squeeze her stomach roll right under her bellybutton, or push on her lower back. Alicia finds lots of other things funny, especial when Mommy sings and bounces Alicia up and down on her knees.
Hopefully we will be able to catch Alicia laughing on tape. However, she can stubborn when it comes to the camera. Alicia seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to knowing that she is about to be filmed or photographed. No matter how long she has been smiling or doing something funny, when the camera comes out she squirms, looks away or stops doing what she was doing. Kids! Anyway we tried to film Alicia right before I started writing about her laugh. We figured I would tickle her and she would laugh, but Alicia did not find this so amusing.

The first thing I did when I got home from Chincateague was plug in my computer and come to Alicia's Web site. It is always great to see a video...even though she is not doing exactly what you wanted, it is wonderful to see her anyway! She is getting so tall!!!

Great to hear that she is enjoying daycare. As for the camera thing it seems like that always heppens with kids so I understand. You just have to set up a hidden camera for her all ninja like. Love, Jay
