November 23rt 2008 - A busy Saturday with Alicia

I thought it would be interesting to write about a time line of Alicia's Saturday. Alicia started the morning over all a little tired and grumpy. It was pretty uncharacteristic of her to be so sleepy and grumpy, but she has two teeth coming in so it is understandable. In the afternoon she was really happy and playful. It was pretty cold all day, right around freezing and there is about an inch or 2.5 cm on the ground now in Malmö.
Here is how the day went:
6:17 Alicia woke up crying for her pacifier
6:47 back up ready for her bottle
6:53 back to sleep
8:40-8:50 Alicia was back awake and it was time for her medicine then back for a little nap
9:17 Alicia up and at em
9:40 Alicia smiled when I rubbed her hand against my face and I said, "Daddy's face, daddy's whiskers"
10:00 back asleep in Daddy's arms
10:52 awake
11:05-11:25 hot lunch for Alicia. It was Linda's special chilli con carne
11:35- 12:00 warm bath with lots of kicking, laughing and splashing
12:00-12:15 Daddy helped Alicia get dressed for Samuel's 4 year old and Hjalmar's 1 year old birthday partys
12:15-13:00 Alicia went back to sleep
13:30 - went to Samuel's house. (Samuel's parents are Dany and Bibban) This was the first time Bibban got to meet Alicia. Dany help Daddy watch over Alicia
15:45 Mommy just got off work and came right over to Samuel's house
16:30 Left Samuel's house to go to Hjalmar's party
17:45 Ate porriage
18:00- 20:00 Hung out with Daddy and Mommy's friends who were at Hjalmar's party. I especially hung out with Big Steph and Ella. Alicia even fell asleep in Big Steph's arms.
It was nice that everyone was saying such nice things about how well Alicia was sitting up and looking way way way more alert.
20:00 time for medicine
20:10 hung out with Mommy and watched everybody
21:00 left Hjalmar's party
21:20 -6:00 well deserved sleep after a long and exciting day!
