Not to long ago I wrote here in the blog that Alicia don't want to move around in her walker. A few days after that we decided to try to higher her old walker since she had outgrown it. Hjälpmedelcentralen (this is were we get all her stuff from - the walker, her chair and so on) would not do any changes on it cause it is a safety risk. They say that when the kids are as big as Alicia is they can tip when they are in it. I think they have to look at every individual when it comes to this. There is no chance that Alicia can tip in the speed she is going... So what we did were that we got some new higher wheels for the walker so it came up about 7-8 cm. This made a huge difference. Alicia got her legs in a good angel again and she moves around how she just to do. She is stepping her feet and pushes backwards. It is so good to see!!

I just want to show you all these two pictures. From August to December we had so much problems with getting Alicia to eat. Her hair quality really changed during this period. Now she loves food again and you can see that on her hair. Look at the difference....

I had catching up with the blogg during my lunch break at school. Alicia and Damien, Do you both know what great parents you have? They love you guys and are so good at documenting everything about you. Aunt Sue has a hard time keeping up!
I'm so glad to see that you solved the problem with the old walker. Does that mean that Alicia doesn't use the bulldozer anymore? I loved the black and white photos too. There are some really sweet ones in there.
I bet you guys have a lot of fun doing your "battles" every night. The kids look like they do a lot of giggling.
Damien is getting to be such a big boy. He sounds like a ball of energy too! Watch out mom and dad!

Alicia is improving so quickly now. She is able to move again!!! Smart thinking about the size of the wheels. I bet it is like a speedway or Nasca race track with Damien and Alicia together:) Her hair is beautiful and so much easier to manage! What a beautiful young lady you guys have!
