June 8th 2010 - Damien´s 5 month update

Time is flying. Damien is 5 months old now and a very energetic young boy. He definitely keeps us busy. He gives 110% from he opens his eyes until he falls asleep. He loves to play around and always has a big smile on his face.

When Damien was 4 months old we started to introduce him to solid food. He loves it! Pretty soon we could give him full portions of porridge, potatoes, carrots and now we also started with some meat dishes which he loves. Since he eats solid food now he hardly pukes at all anymore. It is so nice for all of us! We also got a new type of formula for him that thickens when it comes down in his stomach to prevent that it comes up again. This helps out as well!

First time Damien is trying porridge.

Our little boy is sitting up on his own now!!

Damien rolls around all the time now. He rolls from back to stomach as soon as you put him down on the floor. He also started to move around a bit. When he is on his stomach he rotates in a circle. He tries to move forward and sometimes he makes it. He puts his bum up and tries to jump. It looks really cute.

This is how we found Damien in his bed the other day...

    Ross and Linda,
Thank you for always keeping this blog up to date! I check it 3 or 4 times a day just to see if anything has changed. I feel like we are almost right in Malmo with you. I know your parents, Linda, know how important it is to us to see our grandbabies, and of course you two.

    Love,
    Mom L.

Can't believe it has been 5 months. Damien is so strong and active and handsome! Looks like he is ready to learn to swim the butterfly. He has a great dolphin kick. I remember one of Ross's favorite toys was a little telephone. I guess the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree!!! I love Damien's beautiful blue eyes. What size Carter's clothes is he in now? Looks like at least 12 months or maybe even 18 months. He is a hunk!

    Love,
    Mom L
