It was a long time since we were able to update Alicia's blog. Our computer has been broken but now we finally got it back and we hope that we didn't lose all of our readers.....
Alicia and Ross had a 3 week long Christmas break this year and we had a really cozy time together. We thought that we were going to spend it with little brother as well but he decided to wait for a bit longer...
Unfortunatly the break started off with a long and stubborn cold for Alicia. She had a fever for 10 days so she felt really crappy and weak. She slept most of the time and when she was awake she just wanted to snuggle. It was cozy but we felt really, really bad for her...
On Christmas Alicia felt a little better and we all had a really good day together. We went to celebrate the Holiday in Lund at my parents place with the rest of the family. We had the traditional Swedish Christmas food and of course we ate too much as usual.

The whole family around the dinner table.

Alicia and Daddy
Alicia got so many nice christmas gifts this year. She got a lot of clothes and a whole bunch of toys. Sometimes it's hard to find good toys for Alicia that she can appreciate, but all the things she got was perfect for her.

Alicia got to meet Santa...

...and even sat in his lap!!!

Alicia is getting excited over some of her new stuff

A new Tellitubbies, Jippi!!
New Year we celebrated at our place with some good friends. Alicia was the princess of the night...

The cutest....
The last celebration of the brake was of course Daddy's birthday. Here is a picture of Alicia waking him up and singing to him... (Every morning Alicia has some crazy hair....)

Alicia's cold is gone now and she is feeling really good. At the moment she has so much energy and she is happy all the time. She laughs out loud at everything and she is very entertaining.
She also started to eat well again. I can't remember if I have written about it before in the blogg but since August Alicia has been refusing to eat. Every meal has been a huge struggle and it has taken so much time and energy. It also caused a lot of worries since she started to lose weight and she was getting really tired. It's a big relief now when we can feed our little princess 4 meals a day without any hassle. She opens her mouth and enjoys the diffrent tastes again. She also started to enjoy feeding herself again with finger food and this feels like a huge step forward....
Alicia is continuing getting stronger in her body. When Ross holds her in his lap and lays her down, she tries to pull herself up by using her stomach muscles.
She has also started to show some intrest in using her legs more. She is trying to lock her knees when we hold her up. She has never done this before so it is making us super excited.
We are looking forward to a very exciting and eventful year with Alicia!!!

I have checked this blog many times every day and today, what a glorious surprise. Now Linda, you can have Damien! Your work is done putting the blog back up:) The pictures of Christmas day are wonderful. Alicia got everything except our box of presents. Maybe they will be there in time for Easter! Alicia looks like she is getting very strong!! and tall!! We are so anxious to see her next month. Hurry up Damien! I come into work everyday and am bombarded with, "Is Damien here yet?" We all can't believe he is so shy and cozy that he doesn't want to come out to enjoy his wonderful family!
Love,
Mom L
