The service was really nice. The priest had sad some well chosen words about parenthood that made me feel really good. I had met with her a couple of days before and I told her a lot about Alicia and some of our thoughts around everything that has happened to her and us. All the hard things we have gone through and all the thoughts you have when something like this happens to you.
Damien behaved very well in the church and he just looked around at all the guests. Not even when the priest put the water on his head he cried, just smiled!! Matt and Maria are his godparents so they held him during the service, and they also read a really nice text for him.

Here's all of us together with the priest
After the service we had a dinner with all our friends and family in a big room they had in the same building. We had some traditional Swedish smörgåstårta and after that we had some beautiful cakes that my parents had gotten for us. They looked so nice so it almost felt bad to cut in them....

Damien got a lot of nice presents from everybody. He got some clothes, toys, books, albums, foot print sets, some reminders of the day and lots of other things. Damien was awake almost the entire party. He was in an excellent mood and was just laughing and charming all the guests.

Thank you to everybody that wanted to join us on Damien's big day, you are all so important to us, great friends and family!!
What a happy baby!

I love these pictures...I think I say that everytime I write! Damien reminds me of Ross as a baby...very happy and always smiling. Matt and Maria are perfect as Godparents! I love the picture of Alan and Damien. That's one proud grandparent!
