Our 3 year old

On January 13th our little Damien turned 3 years old. I can't belive what a big boy he has become...

Damien is awesome!  He has so much charisma, and he makes some of the funniest expressions you could imagine.  It has been amazing seeing the difference a year can make.  Damien has impressively taken on the role of big brother to Liam, and assistant toy getter for Alicia.  He loves helping Mommy make dinner or do the dishes.   He also loves going grocery shopping with Daddy and helping take out the recycling.   He talks constantly now and his language has really developed the last couple of months.  New words  and expressions are an every day occurance right now.
Enjoy the pictures of our crazy big boy!

Damien learned early how to say, "Go Redskins!"

Damien broke his thumb this fall. This picture is taken at the hospital right after
he got his cast on. He was so good and so brave!!

Christmas break

We were all off together during Christmas break. It was some very intense weeks :) It is really fun to have the kids home from daycare, but for 3 weeks during the winter is almost to long of a time. They wear you out!!! It is full action from 6 am to 8 pm. After that Ross and I crash on the couch - exhausted!!

The day before Christmas the whole family meet up at Mattias & Marie's place. We had a really cosy evening with good food and a bunch of gifts.

Christmas Eve my parents and Fredde, Ida & Nadja came over to our place. We had all the traditional food, more gifts and ended the night with the Christmas gift game. This day we were a bit stressed out - Liam had a bad stomach and probably pooped 15 times, they all cried during dinner, a few fights, refused to fall asleep and so on... It all worked out in the end and Ross and I could sit down and enjoy a few hours of adult time in the end of the night!

Christmas day we celebrated Orphans Christmas with some friends from the Footy team. The kids behaved better and we had a good time with our friends.

On one of the days we bundled the kids up in the strollers and took the train over to Copenhagen. We went to the Christmas market at Tivoli. We have talked about doing this for years. Finally we got to do it, and it was so cos. This was probably the best day during the whole break!!

Alicia had an eye infection that lasted for almost 2 weeks. It was so bad!! Her eye swelled up so much that she couldn't open it at all. We had to take her to the doctor 2 times and to the eye emergency room one time... Poor little girl... And lucky me, a few days after Alicia's eye looked better I got it...

We celebrated New Years with Matt & Maria. We had an awesome dinner with lobster, scallops and a bunch of other delicious dishes. It was a good end to a good year and now we are looking forward to see what 2013 has to bring!!

Liam 1 year old

Just a week after we moved in to our new place we had a big event to celebrate. Our little baby boy turned one year old!! How in the world did that happened?!?

Since we wrote in the blog last a lot has happened in Mr Liam's life. He is such a big boy now. When he was around 10 months old he started to walk and soon after he started to run. Right now his favorite thing to do is to climb. He climbs on everything. He has a little chair that he drags with him around the place to be able to climb up on the kitchen counter, dinning room table and all other places were we don't want him to be...

Liam's favorite word is "Mamma". It would be fun to count how many time he says it every day, must be close to a thousand! He started to say a lot of different sounds and tries to say after us on some words as ball, lamp, dog and cat.

Liam's favorite toy right now is the vacuum. As soon as he gets out of bed in the morning he runs to the closet and wants us to get the vacuum out. It can keep him occupied for hours.

He is a really charmer our little Liam. He gives the sweetest kisses and he is really cuddly. He has the cutest smile and his laugh is so contagious.

So on December 2nd it was Liam's first birthday. We had a small celebration with some family and friends. (Had a big birthday party for the whole family in January). Liam absolutely loved his cake!

PaPaw's visit

During the time we were fixing up our new place Papaw came over for a week to help us out. And let me tell you, it was not a vacation for him... He was helping us out so much and worked with Ross, my brother's and my Dad his entire stay. Thank you!!

There was a few breaks though. One evening we went over to my parents place and enjoyed a really good dinner together. I always love seeing the kids together with both sets of grandparents at the same time. It's not very often that happens, so it feels really special!

Papaw was also here for Thanksgiving. We celebrated it over at Matt & Maria's place. This year Maria had made the whole dinner on her own (I was working at the apartment). She did a great job and we were happy to take a break and enjoy all the delicious food. Oh, forgot to mention that she made the dinner at the same time as she was watching Liam - Still wounder how you did that Maria?!

On the Friday I was cleaning up in the new place so it would be ready for us to move in the next morning. Ross & Papaw took the boys to Leo's Lekland and played around.

Another thing Papaw got to do during his stay was to go with Alicia to her training. He was really impressed with Alicia and her conductor Kinga.

Here are a few pictures from Papaw's stay:

The big move

On November 24th we moved in to our new apartment. Before we moved in we renovated the place - painted, new floor, new kitchen, some work in the bathroom and so on. I think that the job got bigger than we had thought, but we are SO happy with the result! We are really grateful to dad (Allan) and my brothers Mattias and Fredrik for all the help and all the hours they have spent working in the apartment. We are also really grateful to Papaw who flew over to Sweden to help us as well. Thank you!

I want to show you some Before - During - After pictures!!
