November 17th 2008 - Teeth on the way

Alicia is finally getting a tooth, or actually two of them! They have just poked through her bottom gum (the two middle ones). For a couple of days she had been a little whiny and we were wondering what was going on. I got so happy when I finally felt the little tooth (especially since I thought she was "about" to have her 1st tooth 5 months ago)!!!!

Ross and I love all the little comments all of you write in Alicia's blogg!!

I think this was just a coincidence, but yesterday Alicia sat up on her own for a couple of seconds. I had her sitting on the floor and I held on to her sides. Just for fun I let her go, and she sat on her own for a short while!!
It's a good beginning!!

Alicia is getting more and more alert. She responds to us in a totally different way now then she did a little while ago. She loves when we sing to her (the only one that appreciates Ross's and mine singing voice), she laughs and especially if we bump her in our laps at the same time. She loves when we play "rough" with her. When Ross throw her up in the air or when we grab her arms and legs and shakes her. She has the biggest smile on her face!!!

I know you all are very busy with your little one, but, if you have a couple of those pearly whites, we sure would love to see them!

Dad will return from CA on Saturday. Ricky and I have missed him a lot. And, when Jamison stops by she says, "Pappa?, Pappa?" Craig bought us a camera and that program for the computer so maybe over the Thanksgiving break he will set it up. He also bought one for their house so they could telecast pictures to OZ.

    Have a great weekend.

Two teeth! Next thing we will hear is she is eating steak! WOW, she is really progressing. And to think she is beginning to sit up by herself! Every picture you send shows us how much she is improving.

Jamison had her 2nd birthday party at Chuck E Cheese this afternoon. Almost all of the children from her class came to have pizza and cake. Caleb, Ursula's little boy, was there too. He looks just like his uncle Andrew!

Craig, I think, bought a skipe (?) so we can see little Alicia in realtime!!! Also, so his parents can see Harley and Jamison! So, when he gets it set up, we will let you know. I want to see those 2 teeth up close and personal!!!

    Love,
    Mom L
