- Our little princess let us sleep until 9 am today. Great sleep!!!
- Started the day of with a nice breakfast at the hotel.
- Walked down to the city. Crosses the Chainbridge and then entered the walking/shopping street on the Pest side. We didn't buy anything, but it was fun to look at the little stores they had there.
- We went to the Central market located on the end of the shopping street. This is a huge market inside an old building. They sell fruits, meet, wines, souvenirs, linens and so on. We bought a really cute "ladybug bell" for Alicia. We bought a Budapest magnet for our refrigerator. This has become a tradition for us to buy a magnet from every new place we travel too!! At the Central market they have a little food court as well. We tried the traditional Langos, a Hungarian dessert, and we also tried some Hungarian wines. Alicia woke up and wanted to play. I put her on my shoulders and she puked on my head, it was allover my hair and down in my face.... People around us started to point and laugh....

Right after this picture was taken, Alicia puked on me... =)

Cuddle time with Mommy
- We went to Gellert Baths. This is a bath in a cathedral building, beautiful!! Alicia really loved the warm water!! Ross wanted to try out the steam room and the saunas, so Alicia and I just hang around for a little bit, dried our hair and did some girly stuff!!

- After the bath we went to a really cozy bar that Ross remembered from last time he was in Budapest. The entire bar, ceiling and walls were covered with business cards, little notes, pictures and somebody had even put up their babys ultra sound.

- Went to dinner at a restaurant called Fatâl. Alicia got super cranky right as the food came out and unfortunately it rubbed off on Ross and me as well. The dinner was a disaster but it got better again when we calmed down and little Alicia feel asleep as soon as we left the restaurant... =)
- We took a long night walk around the city. Ross showed us were he stayed last time he was there and the area around there. We stopped in for a drink and Alicia got her night bottle and then we walked back to the hotel!

Budapest looks cool. I thought that the picture of the bar was like moss hanging from the cieling. Alicia seems to enjoy the water while just like she seemed to in North Carolina. Can't wait for this year's trip.
Wonderful log

You three accomplish so much in a day! I could tell Alicia loved the baths as much as Ross. Isn't it funny how children have a way of messing up dinnertime! At Sue and Craig's we get everything set up, put the food on the table and Jamison in her hi-chair. As soon as we sit down, Jamison says, "All done," and wants to get up and run around! You two might consider being tour guides...you are so good at capturing all the great places. I loved the restaurant with the crazy ceiling. Did you leave anything in the ceiling?
