The best thing Alicia knows is to take her daily evening bath. This is something she loves and makes her motivated. When we say bath to her she shows us the sign for bath. She takes her hand and pulls it down the chest. This is so amazing to see!!
First we thought it was a coincident that she did it. One day I had her standing up and she didn't want to at all, she was just screaming and in a bad mood. I said "Do you want to take a bath Alicia" and I took her hand over her chest. All of a sudden she got super excited and started to laugh. I think this really shows that she understands!!
This opens up a whole new world for Alicia and just think how amazing it would be if Alicia eventually could tell us what SHE wants to do!!

Wow! That's a huge step! I'm so excited for you guys! What other signs are you teaching Alicia? She looks so relaxed in the tub. Damien looks like he is enjoying it too.

Amazing! I do hope that one day we will be able to communicate with Alicia, and her with us. I think she is trying so hard. I look at the pictures on the calendar you sent almost two years ago and see how much she has developed.
Damien and Alicia like being together, also. You can tell from the pictures you send! Must be pretty active around the house!
