I usually have little projects going on when Ross is out of town. This time I have worked in Alicia and Damien's room and it is finally done. Alicia has a new "big girl" bed. I painted it and fixed it up, I'm really happy with the result.

Both kids are doing really well. Alicia is finally back at daycare after being sick for over a week. She is strong and happy. She is also eating really well again. It feels like her upper body is a bit stronger and I think she developed really good stomach muscles from all her coughing. Trust me, she has been coughing a lot...
Damien is full of energy as usual. He wants something to happen all the time, things to look at, to touch and so on. He is at a really fun age now were he wants to explore everything and he is very alert. Standing up is Damien's favorite activity. I tried to put him in the baby walker the other day to see what he would do and he understood it right away. Here is a little video from Damien's first walk:

I was looking at the kids' room and thought you might want to raise Alicia's bed up so you don't hurt your back lifting her. One inexpensive way is to buy 4 tall size juice cans, paint them white and put them under each corner post. In that way, the bed will be raised, you won't have to bend down so far and they will look like they match the furniture!

Boy, I had a lot of catching up to do on the blog. I loved looking at all the pictures and couldn't get over your little walker boy! You're going to have your hands full!! :)
Loved, loved, loved the new room for the kids. It looks great! And Alicia looks like she likes her new big girl bed! Wow!
The baptism looked like fun. You can tell your family and friends love the kids.
I also loved the picture of Alicia & Harley laughing and all the girls together too.

I really miss you three. The bed looks beautiful. glad to hear that Alicia is doing so much better. I hope Damien doesnt take his first step until I get back. I cant wait to hold the babies and give all 3 of you kisses.

Linda, you have done a beautiful job on the kids' room. You have made the room so large, pretty and practical! And the movie of Damien (and Oliver) is priceless! He is only 3 months old!!! WOW is he strong and curious. What a joy to see these pictures. Great to hear that Alicia has her special trip to school everyday where she can get stronger and stronger! She has come a long way, hasn't she! Glad to hear she is eating again. That is reassuring to you guys, I'm sure!
