Grandma Leila came to visit us for a week and we had a great time with her!! Last time we saw her was last summer when Alicia had all her seizures and we had to rush home to Sweden so Alicia could get on her treatment. Alicia has come along way since then and it was fun to show Grandma all that she has learned the past 6 months!!

During the week we tried to give Grandma a peek in to our everyday life!
One of the days we went to the snozel room at Habiliteringen. This is a room that is decorated to stimulate all your senses. You listen to classical music and the rooms have different cozy lights. There are two rooms. One is called the light room and is decorated in just white. There is a huge waterbed with pillows, big beanbags, watertubes with lights and bubbles, mirrors and so on. The other room is called the dark room and is very dark in the colors. There is a big "pool" with balls where you can lay down in.

We are enjoying a dlicious dinner at our all time favorite restaurant - St Markus vinkällare! They have a huge buffet with everything you can think of!!

On Thursdays Alicia and I attend a singing class at Habiliteringen. Both Grandma and Daddy came with us this week , so that was a lot of fun. Usually Alicia is really in to the singing, she loves singing, but unfortunately she was a little tired and was not interested at all...

Alicia was tired and it ended like this... Sooo cute....
We spent a lot of time at our place as well. We talked a lot, played cards, played with Alicia and so on. Alicia showed Grandma how she takes her baths, witch she loves. She gets so excited when she gets in to the water. She kicks and splashes with her arms and legs.

On Friday we went to my parents house for dinner. We had a really good time together. It is really special to Ross and I when we have our families together since it doesn't happen very often.

Little sweetheart!!! The cutest smile ever!!
The night before Grandma went home, we went to her favorite resturant Sir Toby's and had a delicious dinner. When we were in the resturant we started to worry about Grandma catching her flight the next day, due to the fact that it was snowing so hard. It was actually pretty funny that it snowed every day that Grandma was here. It has only snowed one or two days the rest of the winter. The day that she left it warmed up and everything completely melted.

We all had a great week together and we cant wait until the summer when we get to see Grandma and the rest off the Levesque family!!!

I was not a nervous wreck

Jay, I was not a nervous wreck. I went everywhere in the snow and I don't think complained once or said, "Abandon your cars!" Linda and Ross are very good drivers in this stuff and besides, we took the bus most of the time. I didn't slip once! I saw a lady who must have been at least 75 years old riding a bike out in this snow! Kind of took away my excuses!

Cool Trip

I had no idea that you all had suck cool sensory rooms. What does Alicia like better the White or Dark room? As for the snow I am sure that Mom was a nervous wreck with some white stuff on the Ground. Alicia sure knows how to picture well. Oh yeah did Ross Chop his hair off?
