USA trip part 1

Long time since I updated...

On march 28th Ross and the boys flew over to the US. They spent two weeks together with the family before Alicia and I meet up with them on April 11th.

During their stay in DC they went to the zoo, went to playgrounds, celebrated Easter, played with the cousins and even had time for a quick trip down to the OBX. Ross might write about their trip later as it is hard for me to write about it :) Here are a few pictures..

When Alicia and I came over we had a couple of days in DC. We went on a second trip to the zoo, playground visits, went to the park and spent time with the family. It was so great to see everyone!

On our way to the zoo. Damien picked his own outfit to match the animals :)

On April 17th it was time for our big journey down to Florida. After a 24(!!) hour trip in the car we reached our destination - Sanibel Island. This is paradise!!

We are staying in a nice condo overlooking the ocean and we have a pool right outside. It's great and both Ross and I and the kids loves it!

My parents join in with us when we came down here to mainly help us with Alicia. It's great to have both their company and a helping hand :)

He loved it and is constantly talking about how he wants to become a vet when he grows up!

  1. We really appreciate all of your entries on this blog! You can really tell you are having a fabulous time. The boys are experiencing so many different opportunities! And Alicia, walking with Corina, is sheer joy to see! The picture of Alicia in the pool with Alan shows how much she has improved in the water. And Ross, you have done well with your fishing! I'm a little jealous of your fantastic vacation ;-) Mom L
