First week of school

Monday - First day of school

Liam was very happy and excited to go back to his daycare and to, as he says, his children. He is in the same group as last year so there was no big changes for him. He has some good friends and there is a special girl that he likes a lot. First girlfriend at 2,5 years old...  :)

Damien was also very excited to go back to school. They had split the group he was in last year but he seemed happy with the new group with both old and new friends. He had some new teachers as well and he likes them a lot too. He is really excited every morning to go to school and has hardly any time to say by to Ross when he drops him off cause he wants to rush in and play. I guess we have to see that as a good thing that he likes to be there!

Alicia had her first week in kindergarten. She has started in the new Move & Walk school that just opened in Malmö. This week has been hard for our little girl and there has been a lot of tears. Changes and adjusting to new places and new situations is always hard for her. This time has not been different... 

We have been taking it really slow this week and we want her to just get use to the place and to the other kids and teachers. 

We haven't pushed her at all but she has still been very upset, sad and tired. She has been exhausted in the afternoons and been taking a lot of little naps.

I still feel very positive to our choice of school for her. When she gets use to everything I think this school can help her develope and bring out new sides of her that we haven't seen before. The teachers are wonderful and her classmates are adorable. I think we just need to be patience and give her the time she needs...
