Christmas Eve

We had a great Christmas this year!!

It was a lot of fun getting the kids ready for Christmas. We crossed of the days in a calendar and we had a number candle that you burn down one number every day. Ross and I decided to mix the Swedish and American traditions. In the morning the kids ran out of bed and found a bunch of gifts under the tree. They were so excited!

All the gifts Santa left under the tree.

In the afternoon we went to Mattias and Marie's place to celebrate with the family. Everybody was there and we had a great time. According to our traditions we watched the Disney Christmas show and had som glögg and snacks. Santa came and gave the kids some gifts. Had Christmas dinner with ham, ribs, meatballs, casseroles, eggs, herring, salmon, eel, bread and so on. Christmas game. And last Santa porridge.

It was really exciting for the kids to meet Santa. As he had left a bunch of gifts in the morning I had told Damien that he should say thank you to Santa if he saw him. As soon as Santa came through the door Damien ran up and gave him a huge hug. It was so sweet! Also a big step for him, last year he would not go close to Santa... Liam was not scared at all, tough as always!!

Merry Christmas to all our Family and Friends!!
