Chicken pox

Our vacation didn't get the start we expected... Liam got a really bad case of chicken pox. He is covered, he got them everywhere - in his ears, eyelids and in his mouth.

Alicia still got it pretty mild. She has a few more, maybe 15 of them. We took them to to the doctor and the medicine they got prescribed was to Alicia's happiness to take many baths!! :)

Usually we are so busy as soon as we get here. Not this time... We been stuck at home. We set up a pool in the backyard and have been hanging out there. Life is not so bad after all!!

We made it!

Thursday our summer vacation started. 

We made the trip over to the US safe and without any big problems :)

It was great to see everybody and the kids loved seeing the cousins again!

Friday Alicia and Liam got the chickenpox. So far it doesn't look so bad, but we see how it goes...

We are so excited to be here and are looking forward to an awesome summer spent with family and friends!!

Mothers Day

Today was the Swedish Mother's Day. It didn't work out as planed, but it was still a good day. Unfortunately Ross had to stay home with Damien who is covered in chicken pox. Poor little guy!!

Alicia, Liam and I went for a family picnic/BBQ with my family out in the woods by a little lake. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed ourselfs even if we missed the boys...

Chicken pox

So, yesterday we thought Damien had gotten a bunch of misquote bites. Today we relized that the poor little guy has chicken pox... Poor Damien, he is so itchy... 

Now to the big question. Is Liam and Alicia gonna get sick right when we are leaving for the US? Just 11 days until we leave.

Beach time!!!

After school Mormor and I took the kids down to the beach. 1st visit for the year!! 

Finally summer time!

Liam also got to spend a day with Mormor alone. Since he loves to clean and to help out this was one of the activities, but he also got to go to the playground, visit the farm animals and mcdonalds lunch!

Thank you Mormor for taking the boys out of school for a day and spending some alone time with them. It made them feel very special!!
